Instead I committed to fifteen years in the corporate incentive travel industry. This career allowed me to travel worldwide, lodge at the grandest hotels, view incredible patterns, architecture, and textiles from a multitude of cultures. I loved my job but the simple truth was I had grown restless. You know it is time for a change when B.B. King’s song “The Thrill is Gone” keeps playing in your head.

One serendipitous day in 2002 I decided to escape from my cubicle and make some changes to my life. I gathered my sketchbooks and photographs from my travels and attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) to study textiles. Upon the completion of graduate school, I hopped in my car and headed south on I-95.

Located in my hometown of Augusta, Georgia, I have set up my studio to do what I love…to design fabrics. My design inspirations are drawn from floral and fauna, 17th century motifs, bird’s eye views of parterres (formal gardens), ironwork, architectural features and traditional textile designs.

The mission of our studio is to take classic concepts and give them a modern spin.

All textile items in our collection are hand silk-screened onto luxurious linen and cotton fabrics using environmentally sensitive, water-based inks that are free of solvents. Our professional sewing team then works their magic to create your exceptional final product. The goal of our studio is to produce an outstanding product that brings a novelty keepsake and beauty into your home.

Now, where is my grass skirt…I need to go and practice the hula.
</body-html>
